Generating sample data within a range

I'm generating sample data in Excel, and I need to create random values within a percentage range.

For example, let's say I have a widget with an average cost of $10.  With any given row, I want to generate values that are plus or minus 20% of $10.  So, the value needs to be anywhere from $8 to $12.  I don't want any values that are less than $8 or more than $12.

Does anyone know a formula or function that can accomplish that?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Use =RANDBETWEEN(8,12) to get integer values from 8 to 12, or =RAND()*4+8 to get decimal values.
