Hi! Alicia, it was not as easy as you said.

Me, my part-time colleague and my boss spent two to three days to go through the Help file and the software to find all the default printer settings and there was none.

Thanks for the suggestion but my client has decided not to renew their support with the FACT company and so I am really on my own to resolve it.

It is not updated as the company does not want to spend this kind of money as the software is working fine. I think it is a dead end.

The printer now is a dot matrix printer

Epson LQ-2090

Windows Xp & 7

via a shortcut on the desktop, it does contain any printer-name option

What kind of properties do you need to know?

There are no setting / configuration files

You can only choose laser or dot matrix printer when you first logged in. After that you cannot choose which printer to print from.

You are right on the "not"

The target field is the same for all the users.

The user chooses laser, but when the user prints out the document, there is no option to choose which printer to print from. The only button available is print.
