alt attribute of <img> html tag not working
The alt attribute of <img> html tag is not working for any of the browsers. I want to have an alternative text in case my images don't load or the browser has setting for images not being displayed to true.
It works fine in my browsers. Show us your code that isn't working.

If I put that in a page, I get the text "Fortune 500 Companies" in Firefox which is what it is supposed to do. IE8 puts up a rectangle with those words in it and Chrome puts up a rectangle and will display the title text when you mouse over it.
