Vmware 5.5.0 1331820 to 1750795?

Is there any point in upgrading above?
Cant seem to find any info on the later version.  Were running VMs on local storage.

Thanks

1331820 is the ESXI 5.5.0 GA version.

And 1750795 is the 5.5.0 update 1a for vCenter. They are two different things.

You will have to update ESXi from 1331820 to 1746018. Check the version to build number co-relation here http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1014508

That said, You can check the release notes for any changes that happened in 5.5.0 U1a which will help you

No, update to the latest.

ESXi 5.5 Express Patch 6
Build 2456374

Why update to an old build!

see here how to update using this article I wrote as a guideline.

HOW TO: Upgrade from VMware vSphere Hypervisor ESXi 5.1 to VMware vSphere Hypervisor ESXi 5.5 for FREE

same commands, just different files are required.
