Recommend FTP Server to use with Active Directory

We are looking for FTP Server software that will use Active Directory for user authentication.  We are a small company so cost is a major issue.  Just looking for the ability for remote users to drop files into a directory.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

A few things come to mind...

Globalscape SFTP software. A FTP client would be required on the PC side to access the Globalscape SFTP server. It is only a few hundred dollars to purchase and the yearly support is about the same.  However, once set up you probably won't need to call Support. Mine has been running two solid years without a single Support call. It allows for AD integration as well as FTP and SFTP without opening ports on your Server or firewall.

You can also use IIS in Windows for free and configure WebDav. WebDav uses AD credentials and is free with Windows.
Using WebDav you would end up creating a WebDav link that would be used to Map a drive in 'My Computer'. This way your Users could access their directory just as if it were a mapped drive on their PC. Drag-and-drop files right to the mapped drive.
