Security Logs Windows Server 2012 R2

We need to monitor the server as far back as 6 months - Security Logs.
I have set the Security Log to maximum, and now I get 'The security log is now full.'

I noticed the 'Security Log' can only be set to:
Maximum security log size 4194240 kilobytes, that is the maximum.    Which does not allow me to have 6 months of security logs.
Retention method for security log Manually.

Does anyone have any suggestions on this?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Use "Archive the log when full, do not overwrite events". Find the archives in %SystemRoot%\System32\Winevt\Logs
