CFGRID not displaying on page (CF11)

I'm using CFGRID on a page for some inline edits, but for some reason I can't get it to display on my production server.  The grids work fine on my development machine (Win8, CF11), but when I push to development they do not show up.  Dev server is Windows 2012 CF11 machine.  I've compared CF settings and made sure the JRE versions are the same, but no luck.    The only thing I can think of is that the server was installed in production (secure) mode, because I know my dev machine was installed as production / development.  Just don't know what settings to change, if any, on the server.  Both machines have been updated with Update 4.

Anybody have any ideas on what I can do to get these grids to work?

Thanks in advance.

Have you compared your JAVA Control Panel settings between DEV and PROD?
This article applies to JAVA 7 Update 40, but it should be the same if you are using a different version.

Also, can you confirm what type of grid are you using?

            format="applet|Flash|html|xml"

You mentioned JRE, which suggests "applet", but that is just a guess at this point. I have seen html and flash charts produce a "blank page" effect as well, but each for different reasons.

I am using format="html".

I ended up having to reinstall Coldfusion.  I confirmed it was installed in Secure mode (lockdown), but for the life of me I could not find what settings to change to make cfgrid work.  All Java version/settings were identical to my dev machine, so I chose to reinstall and recreate my datasources / update settings.  Reinstalled using Development profile and cfgrid started working.   I guess Adobe really means it when they warn you about installing in Secure mode!

(Even though my "production" server is in production, it is not heavily used yet - so a reinstall wasn't a major undertaking.)

Thanks everybody for your suggestions!  Splitting points for the  quick responses.

I'm glad it worked out for you. Very useful information because I'm building new servers right now and preparing to install CF11 as well...
