Tool to test UDP ports from public internet back to internal IP address

Hello: I am needing to test some UDP ports from the internet back to my internal network. How can I accomplish this...

nmap is popular for scanning and testing ports. Of course it is more difficult to test with UDP ports, unless you get a readable response from the service to contact.
Usually you just open the port with nmap, and then look at server or firewall logs to see if everything has been fine.
