Will upgrading the configuration size of a production VM on MS Azure affect service in any way?

I plan to upgrade the size of 4 of our Azure VM's from an A3 configuration to A4. I am unable to find any information if this will affect the live server in any way. I have no idea if doing this will affect our data, DNS/Network, take the server offline, downtime, etc..

From the configuration panel, it's a simple dropdown to upgrade the configuration, so it appears it will be an instant and non-impacting upgrade, but I've never done this before.

Can anyone help me out with this?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

From what I have been told in the past by MS, there should be no interruption to services as memory and CPU is hot-add.
