how to find out , about netbeans setting for running  a java program, I would like to see  what commad line it creates behind the scenes

That's basically what each IDEA performs behind the scenes.
Netbeans uses Ant. If you're serious about Java, you should have Ant installed independently (Netbeans doesn't have Ant userland tools)
When you've installed it, you can change to the directory containing build.xml (normally the project directory) and run

ant run

Open in new window

at the command line. That will show you exactly what Netbeans is doing
