WinZip 9 is really old. As I recall, check settings to make sure the temp and default folder locations are local and not on a network. WinZip 9 is just a basic file zip tool, not a network tool .

We block network discovery on our terminal server for security reasons, but winzip circumvents this by having its own built in network discovery. Is there any way this can be blocked or locked down?<br />

Winzip 9's built in network discovery... any way of blocking it?
