Retrieve Avaya License info

I have an avaya 500 v2 unit that was removed from an office before any one grabbed the license off of it. The IP was on another subnet. How do I retrieve the information off of it?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I don't know avaya.  but can you not just plug it into a simple netgear switch and plug a laptop into that switch and configure the IP to match the subnet of the avaya 500 to log on to it?  or is there a console you can jack into?
