Bulk conversion of file extension types

I just backed up my website through WinHTTrack Website Copier 3.48-19, and it
appended "_;" to the file extensions of all my backed up files. For example, *.pdf to *.pdf_; and *.png to *.png_;

Is there a free utility that I could use to find and replace each extension type to what it should be?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Advanced Renamer is very good and it's free:

If you're willing to spend 20 bucks, Flash Renamer is even better:
