Switch replacement HP pro curve to Brocade
I preparing to replace two HP pro curve switches with Brocade switches. I have sonicwall firewall. Is there any ways copy configuration of switch on firewall and transfer it over to new switches or it will automatically start routing to correct interfaces and mac after physical switch change?
ASKER
both the new and old switches are layer 3 and there are two vlans one for data and one for voice
do you need assistance with the Brocade switch configuration?
ASKER
yes.. Is there a support or information link? IS there a way to copy configuration or it needs to be setup manually as they are different vendor and use different OS

so I need to pull the report using -
Port #
switched
untagged
vlan # to tag traffic
tagged
trunk interface
routed
ip address/netmask
and apply the same settings in Brocate

yes. the difference with the brocade is that you place the interface in the vlan (identifying it as tagged or untagged, you can have a mix) instead of putting the vlan on the interface.
i like the brocades, if you need help, holler.
