SpanTag invalid

Hello,
I'm creating automation tests for a web service page/app.  The app works, and the automation test works as well.  The only warning I get is an invalid SpanTag.  The spantab is a tab.  It could not get a valid element rectangle.
Disregarding the automation test, and in terms of future use of this tag; what are the implications.
Should I ask the developer to fix this spantag?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

SpanTag and spantab are not valid HTML elements.  ??  What is {SpanTag:} being used for?

From googleing your response, it looks the the error is in your testing software.  There is a span tag in html that looks like <span class="something">text</span>.  But looking at this http://www.ranorex.com/forum/click-on-each-element-inside-an-ilist-t3381.html seems to mirror your issue.

I would ask the developer. I would also paste your rendered html to the validator and make sure you have valid rendered html http://validator.w3.org/

Thank you.  It did not occur to me that it could be a Ranorex code issue.  I'll look further in that direction.
