GPS with route remote planning

Ideally, I would like to be able to have our office staff program our GPS "route for the day".  Ideally, they would give us a printed schedule, complete with phone numbers and specific suggestions, and the route would already be in the GPS when we hit the road.  Is it possible to have someone program the GPS either over a cell phone signal, or via a wireless network when the vehicle is in range?

Assistance is greatly appreciated.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Here's a couple of options for you:
This works by allowing you to create a route map and points along the way, then sending or sharing it via Google Drive with the phone.
This one might not be as smooth, because the person in the office would need to log in with each identity of the phone user, but allows you to create a route and then transfer it via "your own" account.
