"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You should be able to install the module by running as root:

yum install php-mssql

It's not in the standard repository but it is supposed to be in the EPEL repository.  More info about installing and using EPEL here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL   You should know that php-mssql and freetds are fairly old packages and they don't support some of the newer datatypes in newer versions of SQL Server.
