HighPoint RocketRAID 640L won't initialize

I've installed and setup (kind of) a RAID 5 using 3 drives and a HighPoint RocketRAID 640L controller.

The RAID maintains a status of uninitialized.

I'm thinking that I want to initialize it and then proceed to install an OS.

Anyone know how to initialize it?

It appears that time is an issue... supposedly there is nothing anyone can do but wait.  Depending on the data on the drive(s) it can take a week for the RAID to be completely built (Initialized).

Thus... I leave the computer running for a while, reboot and then check the status.

When the Highpoint initialization message is on the screen, press CTRL-H to access its BIOS and configure the drives.

Time was the issue... took about 2 days for the RAID to complete.
