plug in an internal high efficiency platinum AC power supply and the regular Ac power cord (IBM x3500 M4)

Hello,

I am installing an IBM X3500 M4 and this comes with an internal AC power supply for redundant power supplies in the event one fails. I received just one cable and I have two connection for power.

The thing is before turn on my server I need to plug in both AC power supplies?

Sorry for my ignorance.

waiting for help if I need to order the other cable.

Thank you

The server will work with just one PSU, but you'll probably get warning messages and blinking LEDs. Of course you won't have redundancy with just one PSU.

You should have got two cables with it, As Rindi says it'll work with one but you may have to press F1 etc.
