I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What are you attempting to do: import from Excel or export to Excel? I ask because you have the Excel source highlighted in the toolbox on the left, while on your data flow it looks like you might intend to export to it.

Hi,
SimonAdept is right. You have used an Excel Source, but you should have used an Excel Destination
(the arrow directs from the Excel to the right).
Just remove the Excel component and select the related destination component and connect the source with the new destination.
