SBS 2011 Essentials - folder redirections not being backed up

Hi all,

I installed the Win 7 Pro Pack Add-On to SBS 2011 Essentials, which gave me Folder Redirection.

The problem is, even though i specified that the Folder Redirections get backed up, they don't appear to be getting backed up. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

I think this is the root of the problem because even as the admin, I can't see the contents of the Folder Redirection folders. But I don't know how to change this, as I'm a network newbie.

If I go forward, about the only thing I can do is change ownership. But if I change ownership to me (admin), wouldn't that deny access to the user?

Thanks in advance.

BTW, I think part of the problem is that Folder Redirection is not natively built into SBS 2011 "Essentials". I had to add it via the Windows 7 Pro Pack Add-In.

I think I got it figured out. I poked around a bit under Group Policy Management:

In the process, I think I learned how to do the Folder Redirection in Essentials w/o deploying Win 7 Pro Pack.

Thanks much.
