javac jli dll missing


i have jdk 7. I wnet to advanced system settings. I created PATH and poined to to bin

C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_02\bin

when i go to command prompt say
javac getting attached error.

when i say java it is not giving error message though.  How to resolve this issue. please advise

Make sure that the path you specified is getting applied and that there are no other PATH entries that could be pointing to other locations that might contain javac (ie. old jdk installations, etc). Check this my going directly to the JDK bin directory and trying javac from there.

Otherwise, check that your JDK hasn't been corrupted/tampered with, etc, the "jli.dll" file should be in that same bin folder, is it there on your machine?
