zebra printer GC420d printing blank labels

Hello expeerts,
We have this printer at a remote location, it was working just fine until last weekend that unexpectedly prints blank labels. We have checked our application (vb2012) but all is working fine. Even the drivers of the printer are up to date.
What can I check here, please a little guidance,

I would do a self-test on the printer first.  This is usually done by turning the printer off, holding down one or more buttons (there may be different tests) , and then powering on.  Check your user manual for the procedure.  If you don't have one, you can find it on Zebra's site.

If a test label does print, then, you know it's not the printer.

I would then check that both ends of the cable are secure.

Then from the driver/printer setup, initiate a test.  You can print the windows test page, and depending on the driver your using, may be able to activate the built-in self-test and get a true test label.

If a label does not print, try replace the cable to the printer and try again.   If still nothing, then there is a driver issue.   If it does print, then the problem is the application or something between the application and computer.

Doing the above will pin-point where the problem lies.
