Deleting .sys files?

Trying to clean up a Lenovo All-In-One, running 64 bit Windows 8.1 that was overrun with malware & I'm left with 2 stubborn files that I can't delete.
They are cmwr.sys & cmwf.sys. When I try to delete them, I get the message 'The file 'cmwr.sys' is too large for the destination file system'.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Try Shift-Del. That will avoid sending it to the Recycle Bin, which may avoid the "too large" message. Regards, Joe

That did it, Thanks!
Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't it have given me the 'too large for the recycle bin. do you want to permanently delete it' message?

You're welcome — glad to hear it!

Good question! I don't know the answer. Certainly would have been the right thing to do at that point.
