Configure Outlook 2013 to configure when first launched

Hello,

I'm getting set to deploy Office 2013 to a group of computers. When i deploy it on my test computers it forces the user to go through the setup (User name, email address, password ext..) Is there anyway to automate this so my users wont have to set this up? I thought this should be able to pull from AD/Exchange.

You can try the Office Customization Tool.

It should let you configure an automated Outlook install for your users.

unfortunately, i don't think you can do that. all other configurations seem okay to be pulled, just except the credential information. every user needs to input his or her username and password at Outlook's first startup againt his or her profile.

it sounds like that but actually not. if it could be possible, that someone (including admin) may grab your credential without your authorisation. even an admin should NOT be able do that.

Thanks pgm554,

I was able to configure it using OCT. The only thing my users have to enter their password. I used environmental variables to get their user name and email address.

No everything is configures. It just prompts the user for their password the first time the user launches Outlook.
