If you have inbound-email already via a provider, you don't really need MX record for out-going. Just next hop your email back to the provider will do.<br />

2) the CAS server in Exchange 2013 are just merely a place holder. Unless there are a need, i recommend to put CAS server and MBX server together. <br />
It save alot of hassle to work out where to go. <br />
