SCVMM 2012 R2 create template iselection s greyed out

I have created a Centos 7 generation 2 virtual machine with secure boot disabled and set it up to be a template.
After shutting it down, I can't select "Create VM Template" in SCVMM because it is greyed out.

According to sources I have found, Integration Services should come with Centos 7 and thus not grey out this selection.
After some Googlinh I ended up running the following:
yum install hyperv-daemons

Still same result.
Anyone here know how to convert the Centos 7 VM I created to a template?
Links to guides would be great, I haven't found any.

Seems like I cannot create a template from a virtual machine, I have to create the template from the virtual machines harddrive. I did that and tried to deploy from the template, but got this error:

New-SCVirtualMachine : Virtual Machine Manager cannot detect a heartbeat from t
he specified virtual machine. Either the virtual machine is not running or Virt
ual Machine Additions is not installed. (Error ID: 609)

I guess I will have to look up Virtual Machine Additions, despite claims that Centos 7 should be VMM ready by default.

Ended up instaling scvmmagent on the VM:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj860429.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

Also I installed Linux integration Services for Red Hat 6.3.
Don't know if that was a god idea.
Deploying now to see if things work.
