Cisco Console Command Output Question
Hello Experts,
I have written the following alias:
alias exec sim ping ip 10.1.20.25 size 500 repeat 100 timeout 100
However, I don't want the ping results to appear on the screen as shown in the image.
Can someone please let me know how to allow the ping results to run in the background with showing on the console?
Cheers
Carlton

Don,
Thanks for responding.
The link you provided doesn't provide an example. Do you have a sample config?

It would be something like "show ip route | redirect flash:file name.txt".
Not sure if it would work with a non-show command. But you could try it.
