Printer driver issue
Hello,
I have a Windows 2008r2 x64 server and I'm trying to create a print queue for a mahcine that's on a Windows 7 x64 and x32 software/hardware. My question is more on how I go about adding a printer to the server so both Windows machines can connect and print. I've attempted to add a 2008 driver and a windows 32/64 driver, but I keep having an error when attempting to connect the printer from the Windows 7 mahcine, because the error states that the proper driver...ie. 32/64-bit driver must be used.

What you would do instead is cheat by downloading Server 2008 32bit and 64bit drivers (not the 2008 R2). They will work the same. The drivers have to be identical to the operating system to which you cant have a server 2008 R2 64bit driver and a 2008 standard 32bit driver.
Just download regular Server 2008 drivers and install them.
