MS Word 2010: comments not printing

I have a user who has a number of Word documents with Comments in them, they appear fine on the screen, they appear fine in print preview, but the comments don't print.  If I open the same document & print it, the comments print so presumably the problem must be with her setup, not the document.  I can find instructions about setting the Print Settings to Print Final Markup, but she has that ticked, so its not that.  I think it must be a setting somewhere because she had this problem a year or so ago & I fixed it by upgrading her to Word 2010, but now its happened again, so I suspect some unintentional combination of keys is changing a setting. Anyone have any other ideas about what might be blocking the Comments from printing.

This method has worked for others

1/ Close Word.
2/ Re-open Word
3/ Using Word (not Windows Explorer), open the document.
4/ Print your file.  On the Print page, under Settings, click the button that holds the options like "Print all pages" and make sure that the "Print mark-up" is checked.

Wow, that does work, thanks Michael.  Question is, what's the difference between the two methods of opening a document, is this (sharp intact of breath) a bug in Word, or something to do with template settings?  Just because it would be nice not to have to think about how to open a document every single time.

It would have to be a bug in word. Not sure what is happening only that it works. At least you only need to do it when you want to print a document with the comments in place, which should not happen too often.
