Does anyone know how to get SQL Server Managment Studio to access an Oracle database?

So the db admin here downloaded the SQL Server Management Studio and it will access the Sequel version of databases we have, but I need to access an Oracle Sequel Database and it does not show.

I thought in other places I worked there was a different version of SSMS that applies only to Oracle.

Is there?  And if so, how do I find it?  The db admin here says he can find no reference to such.

If you are looking for a GUI type tool for accessing Oracle databases, use Oracle SQL Developer.

It's Java based, completely free and provided by Oracle.

Trying to use SSMS as your primary tool for accessing  Oracle is just going to cause you no end of grief in the long term.

SSMS is for Microsoft SQL Server only.

For Oracle I used SQLTools.net in the past..

You can create a linked Server to Oracle db and can view the objects thru ssms ; SSMS is for SQL Server only.

As another experts said, SSMS is only for SQL Server Administration.
By the name you may be looking for EMS SQL Management Studio for Oracle?
