Outlook Remembers the Words that have been replaced

Outlook Remembers the Words that have been replaced

I use MSOutlook 2010 at work. Sometimes, I start writing Email, for instance:

"Hi today, I am going to the park" I do not hit Send yet.
If someone calls me and stay on the phone with him for a while then come back, I get back to my email, then I change it to:

"I am going to the Park this afternoon" then hit Send

Well, in the email preview, I will see " Hi today, I am going to the park this afternoon"

but if I open the email I will see the content I sent "I am going to the Park this afternoon"

I wonder if anyone has this issue, which happens if I do not send email right away.

I deleted/created profile. I ran Anti-virus, but the issue is still on (when there is a delay between changing words and sending email).

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thank you

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I think you will find that if you write "Park" and send, and the close Outlook, re-open Outlook and check, you will only see "Park" and not "park". Is that correct?  So then just a preview in cache or something like that.

If you write an email and send it right away, it will show correctly in the Preview.
If you write email "AAAAA,BBBBB,CCCCCC" then you change your mind and modify it as "YYYYY,BBBBB,CCCCCC", but you do not send it right away, you go grab cup of coffee, you will come back and send it as  "YYYYY,BBBBB,CCCCCC", it will show up in the preview as "AAAAA,YYYYY,BBBBB,CCCCCC"
but if you open it up, the email body will still show correctly as you sent it "YYYYY,BBBBB,CCCCCC".

it is just the preview that remembers whatever words you wrote on the email body, even though you replaced those words, but still show in the preview.

What happens when you close and then reopen Outlook (most of us do not close Outlook). Try it and see.

I did several times, I deleted and recreated the Outlook profile, I restarted the PC.
The issue is still On

Outlook uses Word for its editor. I wonder if the other text is store in the Word temporary files. Otherwise, I have not seen the issue.

where is it located ?

Look in Word, Options, Save and then check out the Office Document Cache setting and also the Auto Recover settings near the beginning to the Save options.

I wonder if repairing MSOffice or uninstalling/reinstalling it will fix the issue
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
You can try an Office Repair (from Programs and Features). That is easy and may work.

Uninstall / Restart / Reinstall Office is also fairly easy and may help.

Set up a new, test, Windows User Account (User Profile). Log in as the new Windows Account and test in the new account. It may be a Windows Profile problem.

neither of the options worked....it might be Microsoft bug.

user has used more than one computer and also used OWA, the same thing..............It happened to me randomly too
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
it might be Microsoft bug  <-- It could be. Updates are always coming out, so it may go away.

Try this:  Next time it happens, close Outlook, and then close Word (and any other Office App open). Then open Outlook and see if the same issue is present.

I am running out of ideas on this one.
