Reviews of Cloud IaaS Providers

I am researching IaaS providers and wondering if anyone has experience with and willing to provide feedback on some of the following companies cited by Gartner in their latest report: ATT, Verizon, CenturyLink and/or Rackspace?  Alternatively, have you worked with a different provider that you felt provided outstanding service and competitive pricing?  Thanks.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Rackspace, excellent what you pay is what you get....pricey, but excellent service and support, uptime.

Of the few you mentioned, I like Rackspace and CenturyLink but there are a lot of others (that are almost in the "magic" quadrant), that are also very good.  It really depends on your specific requirements.  Unfortunately, the devil is in the details.

For instance, some are running active/active replication on all of their servers, giving you more redundancy than the ones doing active/passive.  Some can also install a private circuit and give you 100% guarantee of uptime and high-level QoS on real-time applications, etc.

I can recommend a top 5 for you to explore.   Some possibilities are Matrix, Evolve IP, Navisite, GreeenCloud, SingleHop and Rapidscale.
