Netapp upgrade

I am trying to upgrade dataontap os from 8.1.3 to 8.1.4
Looking for the steps. The user manual is bit confusing me, Can experts check this and let me know whether I am ok please?

NetApp Release 8.1.3 7-Mode: Sat Jun  8 08:11:51 PDT 2013
I am downloading  814P6_e_image.tgz because of my model and cpu
Then I copy this file to /etc/software folder
Then I do below in steps
>software update  814P6_e_image.tgz
> cf takeover
>cf giveback

If you have access to the Netapp portal you can use upgrade advisor to provide you with all commands that you need.  It will also provide you with a backout plan and non disruptive vs disruptive upgrades.
