How can I remove vms from datastore in ESXI after installing Hypervisor 6.0

I have installed the new Hypervisor 6.0 on a Server which earlier had the old Hypervsior 5.5 in the lab environment. It is a clean install (but preserved my old VMs in the Datastore).
There are many VMs in the Datastore and I am unable to delete them when I try to access them from the web-browser.  I have not yet installed  vSphere.

My question:  I would like to delete the old vms directly from the Hypervisor 6.0 before installing vSphere.

Thanks.

Why not install the vSphere Client, and delete them from the Datastore using the vSphere Client.

You could also just delete the datastore and create a new datastore.
