I have four DCs across two sites. &nbsp;I also have RSAT tools on my local PC to do day to day stuff.<br />

When I load my DNS tool and connect to my DC, it shows &quot;Use root hints...&quot; checked on the DNS forwarder tab.<br />

When I hit the server at the console level, the &quot;Use root hints...&quot; is NOT checked.<br />

I'm curious about why RSAT tools running locally on a PC would reflect different results than the console and I would be curious as to how to correct that.<br />
