Trying to gain access to cisco 24 port switch catalyst 2960-s series poe

I currently inherited a network of which I do not have the username and password for the switch controlling there dhcp.  I have tried the default username and password for that model and that did not work.  Is there anyway to gain access to the switch without doing a full reset?  Any help would be appreciated.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Not really, unless you can crack the secret (type 7 password), if it's not salted ... You can still maybe crack it if it's salted but it wil take a long time.

There are some online resources where you can try and crack the md5 hash, example

That is all only if you have access to the md5 of course, maybe there's backups of the config somewhere?
