We have a SharePoint server farm consisting of 3 servers. We need to change the computer name of one of the servers. It's not the server that is running Central Admin or the main front end. It was added to the farm later. If we look at Central Administration -&gt; System Settings -&gt; Manage Services on Server, we see some services running on the server we want to rename (see image). Obviously when we click Server -&gt; Change Server we see the current name. So something has to be updated to change the name of the server so it doesn't get cut off from the farm. <br />

Is there a procedure for doing this?<br />
