Where is it hidden in Windows 8.1 pro. I know it should be included as part of the standard OS.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It is there.  Look in %windir%\system32\mstsc.exe and that is it. I hope you can find it. Use Win + R on the desktop to locate it.

I use it all the time and pasted the shortcut to it onto my Windows 8.1 desktop.
