what context is novastor running in and it should be using VSS for backing up. Which version of Novastor Backup? Pro/Server/Business Essentials?
Davis McCarnOwnerCommented:
VSS does need to be working for backing up open files; but, I think Audrey got herself infected.  That AT1 job in scheduled tasks is highly suspicious!

I really can't tell if that is an infection, but the occams razor solution would be that the permissions are not set correctly for the backup destination.

Using NovaBACKUP Business Essentials Version 12.2.

We have informed the client to upgrade their version so as to eliminate the file error issue.
