A small client wishes to collect recurring payments by direct debit and wants this to be actioned online. Not sure where to start with this, I can see organisations that will do it for me but wondering if we can operate directly with the bank.<br />

Has anybody experience of setting up an online DD payments system and is it better to work directly with the clients bank or to use a 'merchant' type service.
