Veeam 8 - Repository for replica metadata?

In our setup of replicating VMs over our LAN between two hosts, what location would be best in order of performance, under the 'Repository for replica metadata' option?  Local veeam server storage (physical box c:\) or use a network share on our NAS?

Thanks

I would use the  Local veeam server storage.

Create a folder on C:\

Yes, it's tiny.

Any share will do.

Sent it a our NAS as repository location and copying this across to remote site (should we ever need to restore/build veeam box)
