"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Do you have a clean backup so you can compare actual website with the backup using winmerge.

Maybe you got hacked.

Is this an old Joomla version, have you updated it recently?

You can try to add this to your factory.php
define( '_JEXEC', 1 );
define('JPATH_BASE', dirname(__FILE__).'/' );   // should point to joomla root
define( 'DS', DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR );
require_once ( JPATH_BASE .DS.'includes'.DS.'defines.php' );
require_once ( JPATH_BASE .DS.'includes'.DS.'framework.php' );
$mainframe = JFactory::getApplication('site');

It's Joomla version 2.5. I am on a Mac, I will look for a compare software for the file.

According to the following site I have been hacked.

http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/faboh.com

I looked for the 404 folder to delete the .js file and I can't see it in FileZilla.

I was able to get the site up and running again by doing a fresh install of Joomla and imported the existing database into it. Then I copied over the components, modules, images, and theme I was using.
