changing a RAID 1 disk on a Dell Poweredge 2900
Hi,
I had a disk on a Dell 2900 in predictive failure state on a RAID 1 array. Per Dell instructions I did a consistency check and then took the disk offline and replaced it.
My question is this: I now have 2 options I can either bring the new disk 'online' or 'rebuild' from the drop down list. So do I go straight for 'rebuild' or bring the disk 'online' and then 'rebuild'
Thoughts appreciated

Unless I'm missing something I only have the 'online' & 'rebuild' options (along with the blink/unblink)
