AD Wan DC and Member Server Time

I am hoping to get some advice please. I have multiple sites connected via a wan and each site contains some DCs and some member servers. These are hosted on hyper-v 2012 hosts.

I want the time on all these servers to be correct because at the moment some are correct and some are a few minutes out.

What I would like is for the servers to query for exact GMT time and work that way but maybe I only need one server doing that and the rest all point to it?

Hopefully I have explained that tight.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

the standard practice is to use the Primary Domain Controller to get the internet time and then for member servers to query the pdc
on the PDC
Net Stop W32Time
w32tm /config /syncfromflags:manual /,,,
W32tm /config /reliable:yes
Net Start W32Time
W32tm /config /update
W32tm /resync

- to configure a domain computer for automatic domain time synchronization, run:

w32tm /config /syncfromflags:domhier /update
net stop w32time
net start w32time

That's brill thanks.

So do I need to edit anything on the two sets of steps to suit my own environment or will that work out of the box?

Will this check time is correct regularly or is that a one off?

Shouod this be run on hyper v hosts and virtual servers as well?

Any update please?

that will work right out of the box and is a 1 time operation.  you may want to use a pool that is closer to you geographically
