Data Center T1?
So,
I've heard of Meetup Rooms, Meet Point Rooms, T1's for Internet access, but can a T1 line be used within a data center that does not travel over a 3rd party line? Someone said they did, and I'm looking for validation. Anything to explain data centers a bit better would be appreciated. I have not heard of T1's being used in this fashion.
Thanks,

Don,
That is what I understood a T1 to be. But now about alternate WAN technologies? Dave, above, said one could theoretically do so. I think the person who said this is throwing BS out there. How about Meet Point Rooms and T1's?

All,
What I am hearing is that this person was probably making up crap to sound intelligent. Even OCX would be ridiculous within a data center or cloud service provider (assuming one geographic location - not a dispersed model). What technology do Meet Point Rooms use? They aren't using OCX or anything are they?

Don,
Thank you. I know a company who calls them Meet Point Room. It is the same as MPE and Meet-me rooms.
All,
Thanks for your answers!
