Best way to setup this table

Hello,

I always just use int and varchar for my tables, I know that is bad practice.

Can you please take a look at the screenshot and let me know what the correct 'type' should be on the rows.

Thanks for your help,
Matt

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You should use the domains data type of each column.

ID is fine. IP is a 32-bit integer number. It should be stored as such, and not in one formatted string version. Dealer_ID is empty, so it's hard to tell anything about it. Vehicle_ID is alpha-numeric, so VARCHAR is also fine. But I would not use it as key in the model, instead I would use a separate table. For date_time: Is it really a date/time or is it a date only column? When it's a date and time value then use DATETIME, when it's a date value then use DATE or when it's a time only value use TIMESTAMP. See also 11.3.1 The DATE, DATETIME, and TIMESTAMP Types.
