Can't connect to desktop from RWW menu

RD ErrorHi,

  I have set up SBS2011 and it is working fine except one thing.
  When I try to connect to the desktop on SBS2011 network, I get an error like you see in the screenshot. I downloaded "Certificate" from Public folder and installed it, but to no avail.
  So I was curious to see if I can connect to RWW. It works. I can see the desktop computer(all Win7 Pros), but when I click to connect, I get the same error.

  However, from any computer on SBS2011 network, if I run Remote Desktop to connect to any desktop, it works.

  So it is apparent that SBS2011 is blocking the connection somehow I can run Remote Desktop Connection from any desktop PC on this network and connect using either computer name or IP address.

  Can you help?

Thanks.

Certificate@John,

I don't think you need VPN connection for this.

@Cliff

 I think you hit the nail on the head. But The SBS self-generated certificate has been installed on my local computer just like any other SBS2011 install. I don't understand what the difference this time.

@Cliff,

 $10/year is much easier solution. Since I have not done that, I would appreciate some more information - where to go to purchase it, how to install it ... so on so forth.
  It is first time in my all SBS2011 installs that I ran into the problem. This is fresh new install  ... strange.

IDK if related but recent windows updates caused issues with remote connections last week

@NewVillageIT
Is there an article that supports the fact that Windows updates caused this problem?

@New
I just checked installed windows updates on SBS2011 and no KB# begins with 3xxxxxx.
They all begin with  2xxxxxx and a few staring with 9xxxxx.
The very first update was made on March 04 2015 when I installed SBS2011.

I will try to run BPA tomorrow. Fix my network did not point out anything except the fact that I set up DNS forwarder.

Is there any other area that I can check to see where it is failing?

Baseline Configuration AnalyzerI installed MS Baseline Configuration Analyzer on SBS2011, but it does not show anything in the product dropdown menu. Is there anything else  I need to do before running this program?
