Removing update cache from Windows Server Datacentre 2007 SP2

Heyas,

There are plenty of articles telling you how to clear your WinSxS Directory in Windows Server 2008. Is their way to do this for Windows Server Datacentre 2007 SP2?

Thank you.

Windows Server Datacentre 2007 SP2?  Did you mean 2008 R2 ?

The procedures are exactly the same and it is definitely a not recommended practice. Hard drive space is cheap even SSD's are under 0.38/meg

Well I am unable to install the update that would give me the ability the remove 'Windows Updates', can advise of another method to clean up the backlog of windows updates? I don't mind if it's a manual procedure.

Thank you.
