I just restored the metadata database to a new sharepoint 2013 farm that is at the same version as the old one. &nbsp;Seems the option to add metadata is greyed out. &nbsp;Do you know if there are additional steps that need to be done?

I just restored the metadata database to a new sharepoint 2013 farm that is at the same version as the old one.  Seems the option to add metadata is greyed out.  Do you know if there are additional steps that need to be done?
